Dear there,

Yesterday, Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe T.D., and Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Michael McGrath T.D. delivered the details of Budget 2022. In framing the budget Minister Donohoe said the government had been conscious of the cost-of-living pressures that are currently confronting citizens and businesses.

'Budget 2022 meets the twin goals of investing in our future, of meeting the needs of today while putting the public finances on a sustainable path' he added.

Rumoured updates to the pension policy elements did not come to pass in yesterday's announcements but are expected to feature in the upcoming Finance Bill at the end of this month.
