Dear ,

We hope that you and your families are keeping well and safe at this difficult time. We are writing to you to confirm that the delivery of insurance services was deemed an essential service by the Government in its list published on 28 March. This means that Aviva Insurance Ireland can remain open and fully operational and that we will continue to service our shared customers.

Whilst many of our Aviva colleagues are and will continue to work remotely, including most of our broker facing staff, we have identified the key people who need to be office based at our four office locations around the country. They have been provided with the required documentation to travel to and from our offices, where they will be supported and protected.

All our offices will remain open to ensure essential services and support can be delivered to all stakeholders. Last week we communicated changes to you on our new business and renewals processes, and we are making no further cover or process changes as a result of the most recent measures announced by the Government on 28 March.

Contact details for all broker related service and queries remain unchanged and are available on www.avivabroker.ie (click contacts, then select your aligned BDM).

Our claims notifications including Motor, Property and Liability claims are also available on www.avivabroker.ie.  Click on General Insurance and scroll down to Claims.  Here you will be given details of how to make a claim.  If you urgently need to contact our claims team, you can call us on 1890 666 888.

Our priority remains the health and welfare of our people, customers and brokers and the continuity of support to our shared customers. Our business continuity plans have and will continue to be deployed as required over the coming days and weeks.

Whilst we will endeavour to support your immediate needs, there may be some service challenges and we would ask for your patience as we embed our new ways of working in the coming days.

Should you experience any service difficulties, or require urgent immediate assistance, please contact your Business Development Manager who will be available to assist and support you.

We will keep you informed of any new developments and thank you for your continued understanding and support.

Please take care and stay safe.
