Our Broker Conference is just a couple of days away, and below is some key information to help the day run smoothly and be enjoyable for everyone attending.

Event details
• Location: Kilkea Castle, Kilkea Demesne, Castledermot, Co. Kildare, R14 XE97
• Broker Registration: From 10:00am (brokers may arrive earlier)
• Conference start: Promptly at 11:00am
• Dress Attire: Daytime: Business; Evening: Business Casual

• Tea, coffee and snacks will be available on arrival

Venue layout
We will be using three separate buildings across the estate:
• The Conference Centre (ballroom and two breakout rooms)
• The Castle (one breakout room)
• The Clubhouse (lunch)

As a result, the day will involve moving between buildings, with short outdoor walking distances between each.

Wednesday rehearsals
For those arriving on Wednesday for rehearsals or preparation, the ballroom will be available from 4:00pm. A group meal has also been booked in the Clubhouse at 7:30pm.

Room capacity considerations
We have a strong number of brokers registered, which is fantastic. The ballroom has a capacity of 150, with priority for brokers and Aviva presenters for the morning session 11am to 1.15pm. We would therefore ask other Aviva staff to be mindful of capacity and, where possible, make use of the time outside the ballroom to prepare for the afternoon breakout sessions. There will be ample opportunity to engage with brokers. Please take note of any relevant feedback shared.

The breakout room in the Castle has a maximum seating capacity of 50, so please be conscious of ensuring brokers attending this afternoon session are accommodated. The other two breakout rooms in the Conference Centre are larger, with no seating restrictions.

Meals & timings
• Light lunch: 1:15pm
• Conference concludes: 5:00pm
• Dinner reception: from 6:00pm
• Dinner served: approximately 6:45pm–7:00pm
