We wish to advise that the HomeChoice policy booklet has been replaced with the version EHHHG 11624 07.2023.

Please cease issuing the previous version with immediate effect and issue the updated version (07.2023) to any Home new business or renewing customers.

A digital copy can be obtained by accessing avivabroker.ie and navigating to the HomeChoice Policy Booklet under the General Insurance products tab.

It has been necessary to update the policy booklet to correct a typo relating to the excess applicable to Section One, Building and Contents, 23. Contents in the open. The policy schedule advises that an excess will apply, whereas the policy booklet incorrectly stated that no excess will apply.

In order to guarantee that no customer is negatively impacted by this issue; no excess will apply to 23. Contents in the open claims for any policy incepted or renewed between 01^st January 2023 to 31^st August 2023 until after their next renewal in 2024. From the policy renewal in 2024, the full terms, conditions, limits and excesses noted in the policy documentation will apply.
