We are writing to let you know about a change we have made to our bLive broker service and our Home Insurance claims procedure.
Update on bLive Home Policy Summary
We contacted you in June 2023 to let you know that the facility to quote for new Home and Van policies on bLive was being removed. We now wish to advise you that the Home policy data summary screen on bLive will also be removed.
However, you will still be able to view all of the Home policy information you need under your clients’ various policy documents (Schedule/SOF/Claims Schedule etc.) in the Document section of bLive, as you can see from the screen shot below.
Update on Aviva Home Insurance Claim Excess
We would also like to advise you that Aviva Property Services is no longer available in the event of a home insurance claim. Aviva will therefore apply the standard €1,000 excess to all Escape of Water claims, in line with the Personal Lines Home policy documentation. This claim excess will apply to all new Escape of Water claims notified from 1st January 2024.
