The vaccine dividend – will it inject life into the Irish economy?

As the vaccine roll out gathers momentum and lockdown restrictions ease, the Irish economy is expected to rebound sharply. In fact, according to the European Commission Ireland’s economy will grow by 4.6% in 2021 and 5% in 2022.

In our upcoming webinar John Deehan will be joined by Economists – Jim Power and Stewart Robertson who will discuss:

  • The drivers of growth in the Irish economy and the problems it faces, including housing, unemployment and potential rises in corporation tax
  • Whose pandemic recovery responses are leading; Joe Biden, Boris Johnson  or Ursula von der Leyen?
  • Brexit: have we seen the true economic impact or is the worst yet to come?
  • The Irish and global legacy of the pandemic

We’ve applied for 1 hour CPD from the LIA, IOB and Insurance Institute for the live event.

Date: Wednesday, 26th May

Time: 10:00 AM

Duration: 1 hour
